Mobile Resource Management (MRM) company Imarda Inc has announced the availability of the Mobile Device API for it's new i360 platform.
Hard on the heels of the recent release of its 3rd generation MRM platform i360, Imarda has announced the availability of an API specifically aimed at developers of software for Mobile Devices such as the iPhone, Android and Windows Phone 7.
"Our desire is to enrich our own offering and business value to end customers by giving third party developers access to our API, thus removing development bottlenecks. At the moment we are opening up the mobile API but as time goes by our strategy is open up more and more of the total system," says Imarda CEO Selwyn Pellett.
"No company can develop fast enough to keep up with all business cases and technology options so opening up the API lets us give developers the power to devise solutions that are not in the core product," he says.
The i360 Mobile API provides developers with access to the underlying system data while at the same time benefiting from all of i360's business intelligence framework.
"We have already built our own iPhone application, using the mobile API both as a showcase of the underlying functionality and as an extension of the i360 solution offering. Going forward our goal is to harness the skills and creativity of all the Mobile Developer community," says Imarda CTO Matt Comb.
